MACC Meeting -- Feb 27, 2010

Sorry, geography fans; we have not had a posting on the department blog since before the holiday break. Now that we are back for the semester, check this space often for geography news and opportunities.

One excellent professional opportunity for geographers interested in environmental careers is the annual meeting of the Massachusetts Association of Conservation Commissioners. The next one takes place on February 27 at Holy Cross College in Worcester. Meet volunteer commissioners, professional conservation agents, and many of the professionals who provide services for them.

Dr. Hayes-Bohanan is a MACC member and has completed its certiciation program. Contact him if you have any questions. (He will not be attending the meeting this year, though: he will be giving a lecture on tea instead.
